De-stressing during finals week

Yoga-1

October 25, 2021 – Students at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health had finals for the Fall 1 term during the week of October 18–21, 2021—but they also had yoga, coloring, rock painting, free giveaways, and visits with a therapy dog. It was all part of “Stress Free Finals,” a series of events presented by the School’s Office for Student Affairs.

Ivy Lin, MPH ’22, health and wellness coordinator for the Harvard Chan Student Association, organized the yoga class, which was led by John McDonough, professor of the practice of public health. Said Lin, “I knew that Professor McDonough was also a yoga teacher, and wanted to organize an event during finals that would help students take a relaxing break while spending time with one of our most beloved professors.”
