Kevin Petersen (he/him) is a medical student at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. He is currently working towards an MPH in Health and Social Behavior at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Kevin plans to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynecology after medical school. His advocacy and research interests include LGBTQ+ health equity and transgender healthcare within the field of OB-GYN. He was recently selected to serve as the LGBTQ & Sexual Health Intern at the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care, where he will collaborate with international researchers to investigate LGBTQ health disparities and sexual education in countries across the world.
