Joseph Martinez (he/they) is a clinical research assistant at the Center for Gender Surgery in the Department of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, working with Drs. Oren Ganor and Elizabeth Boskey. They received their BS in Biology and Society, and Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in 2021. His research interests are rooted in ethics, with a focus on understanding how various systems inform health disparities affecting gender and racial minorities.
