“As the recent chair of the School’s Alumni Award of Merit committee and immediate past president of the Alumni Association, I have been impressed by the significant contributions our graduates are making in senior positions around the world. Unfortunately, many exceptional students don’t have the resources to come to the School without financial aid. Scholarships enabled me to do things that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to do, so my wife and I have tried to support opportunities for others through our annual gifts and now through our gift to the Scholarship Fund. Even though I am retiring, I plan to continue to give to this great cause. With HSPH’s world-renowned teachers, students can participate in work of such importance that they can’t even imagine the beneficial impact it will make on people’s health.”
