During his seminar entitled “On the Promotion of Human Flourishing”, Professor VanderWeele discussed the concept, measurement and pathways to human flourishing as well as implications for research and practice. He provided a definition of flourishing as ‘a state in which all aspects of a person’s life are good’ and argued that the definition should also include health and virtue.
