The Center for Health and Happiness co-sponsored From Bhutan to Harvard Divinity School: Reimagining Happiness for a Better World at Harvard Divinity School on Saturday, April 13 With the participation of experts from academia, business, politics, and religion, the conference created awareness and developed an action plan to achieve the goal of mainstreaming universal happiness and exploring how various stakeholders can both learn from and contribute to this objective, using the example of Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness as a starting point for discussion. Professor Viswanath spoke at the conference about the linkages between happiness and health and the importance of using this research to inform policy.
