Her research focuses on the geographical and demographic distribution of infectious diseases, particularly malaria, the identification of social, biological, and environmental risks associated with vector-borne diseases in the tropics, the modeling of determinants of malaria transmission.

Kevin Croke

His research focuses on using qualitative methods to study the political economy of health systems, as well as empirical methods, including experimental approaches to study public service delivery in developing countries. Additionally, his research focuses on the evaluation of large-scale health programs and policies.

Goodarz Danaei

His research focuses on quantifying the population-level impact of risk factors and preventive interventions on cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) in low- and middle-income countries. He applies advanced methods of causal inference to questions of comparative effectiveness research from observational data in the context of CVD and NCDs.

Her research focuses on the social determinants of health-seeking behavior among people living in low-resource settings in the U.S. and in sub-Saharan Africa with the goal of developing sustainable socio-behavioral interventions aimed at improving care for the most underserved.

Margaret McConnell

Her research combines behavioral economics with field and laboratory experiments to better understand and evaluate policies designed to change health behaviors and improve health outcomes for marginalized populations, with a specific focus on maternal and child health.

His research examines resilience, peacebuilding, and social cohesion in contexts of mass violence, conflicts and natural disasters. His research has led him to examine the ethics of data and technology in the field.

Aisha Yousafzai
