What is the Harvard Global Public Health for Nurse Leaders Certificate Program?

The certificate is a ten-month, part-time program consisting of three on-line courses.  Each course is held over a five day period with pre- and post-session work anticipated.

Who is eligible to participate in the HGPHNL certificate program? Are there any prerequisites?

The HGPHNL certificate program is for nurse and midwife leaders worldwide who have a bachelor’s degree or non U.S. equivalent, and leadership experience.

What is the remote learning experience like?

Online courses at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health cover the same material in a rigorous manner as similar courses offered to other certificate students. Students are expected to keep up with the assignments and homework allowing for full-time professionals to be a part of the program.

Are computers required? What access requirements should I expect?

Students must have access to a PC or Mac, tablet, or Smart phone to access the remote course sessions and have high speed internet access. What is the language of instruction for this certificate program?

All on-line courses are taught in English.
