Dr. Anthony Dias is a highly experienced physician executive with a progressive 28-year track record of leading healthcare innovation at the intersection of public health, healthcare management and policy, informatics and clinical medicine. He developed and implemented business strategies to improve patient safety, healthcare quality, access to care, and to reduce costs in the national healthcare markets.

Dr. Dias has been actively involved with the Harvard Chan School Alumni Association since 2004, taking on an array of volunteer leadership roles, including Chair of the Alumni Weekend Committee, Secretary, and President of the Alumni Council. As a student at Harvard Chan School, he participated in the Alumni Mentoring program, was the MPH representative of the Student Government, and Vice President of Students for Socially Responsible Endeavors group. Most recently, Dr. Anthony Dias served as the Appointed Director of the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) Board of Directors, representing the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Currently, he serves as a member of the Alumni Giving Committee.

In executive leadership roles at various healthcare provider organizations, Dr. Dias led numerous statewide initiatives to support advocacy, quality and patient safety, regulatory and reimbursement policy, community health and disparities, and provided data-driven insights to drive clinical and operational performance by developing advanced data analytics products and services.

Dr. Dias also held executive leadership roles at various Blue Cross Blue Shield companies and led innovation in business informatics to identify operational improvement opportunities to improve quality and access to care at lower costs. He has directed operational management at a community health center, consulted for mental health initiatives, and worked as a psychiatric crisis clinician. In India, Dr. Dias began his healthcare career as an entrepreneur and general practitioner physician.

Dr. Dias has presented as a keynote speaker and panelist at national conferences. He is also an invited speaker at graduate programs at the Harvard School of Public Health, the University of New Haven and Fairfield University. Dr. Dias has served in various appointed roles at the behest of the administration of the State of Connecticut and is currently affiliated with numerous organizations including the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Dr. Dias received his MPH in Policy and Management from the Harvard Chan School, completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University Health Services, his medical school training at Goa Medical College & Hospital, and a psychiatry residency in Goa, India.
