The Institute for Implementation Science Scholars (IS-2) at Washington University in St. Louis is a mentored training program for faculty interested in applying dissemination and implementation (D&I) methods and strategies to reduce the burden of chronic disease and address health inequities. Scholars should be early-career to mid-career researchers who want to pursue D&I research in chronic disease prevention and control. We encourage a diverse set of individuals from a range of disciplines, institutions, and geographies to apply.

Sebastien JPA Haneuse appointed as professor of biostatistics

Congratulation to Sebastien Haneuse for his promotion to professor of biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, on August 20, 2020. Dr. Haneuse’s research focuses on the development and application of rigorous statistical methods for complex observational studies. Specifically, his methodological research encompasses three main areas: the analysis of semi-competing risks data; the design and analysis of outcome-dependent sampling schemes; and methods to adjust for selection bias…
