Harvard Chan Research Center on Causes and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CAP-CVD) studies the mechanisms impacting the etiology of cardiovascular and related metabolic diseases. We aim to facilitate collaborations between basic, clinical, and population-based scientists to uncover how metabolic risk factors, such as obesity and dyslipidemia, contribute to the pathogenesis of cardiovascular disease and to translate this knowledge into prevention and treatment options.
