Harvard Chan Research Center on Causes and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CAP-CVD)

The Harvard Chan Research Center on Causes and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CAP-CVD) studies the mechanisms impacting metabolic risk factors of cardiovascular disease. We operate through action-oriented research collaborations between basic, clinical, and population-based scientists. Our goals are to uncover the metabolic risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease, and to translate this knowledge into prevention and treatment options within the next ten years.
