Learning Objectives:

1) Describe the difference between legal and medical causation;

2) Describe the findings in recent Supreme Court decisions that define admissibility of expert witness testimony;

3) Explain why OEM doctors are well-equipped to make causation determinations in WC and Toxic Tort cases;

4) Explain what medical relative risk corresponds with a legal definition of ‘more likely than not.’
