The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Education and Research Center (ERC) sponsors three series of seminars during the academic year designed to disseminate research findings in occupational and environmental health and safety. Monday ERC Seminars are delivered by invited external practicing experts; they are held either monthly or semi-monthly. Friday Research Seminars are delivered by doctoral and postdoctoral students, and they alternate Fridays with Friday Grand Rounds. The Grand Rounds consist of a case presentation by our occupational and environmental medicine residents followed by a discussion led by an expert practicing physician. Non-Harvard affiliates who want to attend and anyone who wants to be added to the email notification list should contact Ann Backus at abackus@hsph.harvard.edu.
These three series of seminars are sponsored by the Environmental and Occupational Medicine and Epidemiology Program, the Harvard Chan Education and Research Center (T42 OH008416), the Harvard Chan NIEHS Center for Environmental Health (P30 ES000002), the Department of Environmental Health, and funded in part by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs) are awarded to physicians by agreement with the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education.
