Introduction to Puncture Wound Care in Outpatient Occupational Settings

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to 1) describe the unique epidemiological characteristics of the 2022 monkeypox outbreak; 2) describe the clinical course of monkeypox in immunocompetent patients; 3) describe the treatment of monkeypox in immunocompetent patients; 4) discuss the risk of occupational monkeypox transmission in healthcare settings; and to 5) list interventions to reduce monkeypox transmission in healthcare settings.

This event will be in person for anyone with an active Harvard appointment (student, staff, faculty).
