Introduction to Puncture Wound Care in Outpatient Occupational Settings

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to 1) describe a range of puncture wound scenarios in a construction-worker population; 2) describe basic concepts of foreign body removal in outpatient settings; 3) describe indications for the prevention of infections including wound care management, tetanus and antibiotic administration; and to 4) list situations that indicate the need for referral.

This event will be in person for anyone with an active Harvard appointment (student, staff, faculty).
