Using a Fishbone Diagram to Understand Root Causes – A Workshop

Instructor: Serena Rice, MS, Project Manager, CPH-NEW – a Total Worker Health Program, UMASS-Lowell

Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to 1) explain the rationale for conducting root cause analyses, 2) use the fishbone diagram to uncover root causes, and 3) develop SMART recommendations for addressing the root causes of concerns such as health, safety, and well-being. (*SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound.) This session will be held in a workshop format.
