What is your background/experience prior to entering the program?
Completed my BSPH and MPH from UCSD. Worked for the San Francisco Department of Environmental Health and the San Diego County Public Health Services Administration.
Why/how did you become interested in Occupational Health?
Occupational health and research is vital because individuals spend the majority of their day/time working; hence much of their health may be influenced by their occupations.
What is your current involvement in Occupational Health?
Conducting research in the field of occupational health; completing a PhD in Environmental/Occupational Health Epidemiology.
What are your future career plans/goals?
Academia in environmental and occupational health.
