The Student Advisory Committee serves as the primary way for our office to be responsive to student needs, and incorporate student feedback into our services and programming on an ongoing basis. Serving on the committee provides an opportunity to stay actively involved in shaping the career and professional development opportunities for students at Harvard Chan. Committee members are asked to commit to attend 4-6 meetings throughout the academic year in addition to providing feedback, making recommendations, promoting events and opportunities, and assisting in outreach or events as needed.
Students are recruited to join the committee every fall and are asked to apply by submitting a short statement of interest. We aim to have representation across departments and fields of study. Benefits to participating on the committee can include professional development training, discounted registration to career events, and additional networking opportunities with alumni and employers.
