Gianluca Mauro

Gianluca Mauro is an AI entrepreneur and public speaker. He is the founder of two companies: AI Academy, specialized in helping people and organizations understand and use AI, and Epiphany, a startup that uses generative AI and learning science to change the way corporate learning and development designs and delivers education.

Outside of his work in teaching, Gianluca has published a book called “Zero to AI – a non-technical, hype-free guide to prospering in the AI era”, and is active in the field of AI ethics. He has recently led an investigation for the Guardian and the Pulitzer Center called, “‘There is no standard’: investigation finds AI algorithms objectify women’s bodies”. This work was also covered in other publications like Cosmopolitan and Politico, and national TV channels in Germany, France and Italy.
