Janis Breeze is an Epidemiologist in the Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Design (BERD) Center at Tufts Medical Center,and Assistant Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. She received her Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, and her Bachelor’s degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Tufts, she worked as Manager of Scientific Programs at the International Neuroinformatics Coordinating Facility at Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, and was a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School.

Ms. Breeze has worked in the academic research setting as a research associate, program officer, and epidemiologist for over 15 years. She has taught study design, protocol development, epidemiology, and scientific manuscript writing to clinical trainees throughout the Tufts CTSI network, as well as to Master’s and PhD students enrolled in the Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Graduate Program.
