Mike Spadafore

Mike Spadafore is a Managing Director of the Blue Venture Fund and Sandbox Industries. The Blue Venture Fund program is a unique partnership between over 30 BCBS entities, BCBSA, and Sandbox Industries and represents over $850M assets under management. As part of his role with the Fund, Mike helps lead the investment team, set investment strategy, manage the portfolio, and engage with Blue Plan executives across the system. Mike serves as a Board Member of ID Experts, Prove, Physera, Wellframe, WiderCircle, Abacus Insights and Workit Health. He is also a Board Observer for Octave Biosciences and Emids. 

Prior to joining Sandbox, Mike was a consultant with PwC and Diamond Management and Technology Consultants in their Healthcare Strategy practices, where he focused on IT strategy for health plans. Mike holds a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
