Maggie Moore

Maggie is an MPH student in the Nutrition Department.  She joined the School after becoming a mother and moving to Boston, having earned her BA in Business Economics and Finance from Providence College in 2006 and spent the first chapter of her career in impact investing.  Through this work, she began to understand the importance of the social determinants of health, particularly in driving racial and gender inequities, and became passionate about public health nutrition.  Through her MPH training and research, Maggie focuses on maternal and child health and infant feeding; the intersection of economic security, nutrition, and health outcomes; and innovative, entrepreneurial, and evidence-based models to increase health equity.
