Yinan Zhang

Yinan Zhang

Current Position:
Senior Scientist, AbbVie

Postdoctoral Fellow:
2010 – 2015

Education:
Ph.D. 2009 – University of Toronto, Canada

M.S. 2000 – Institute of Biophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China

B.S. 1997 – Nankai University, China

Research Interests:
Cancer cells are dramatically different from normal cells in their metabolic functions. Yinan’s research aims at identifying metabolic and stress response pathways that provide the most attractive intervention points for treating cancer.  Armed with such knowledge, he is trying to target these pathways by screening chemical compounds in search of new classes of cancer therapeutics.
