Alma Sanchez J, MD, is an associate director of education at Principles and Practice ofClinical Research, a program offered by ECPE - Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Director of Teaching Assistant training and development at the same program.
Dr. Sanchez has twelve years of experience in this global leading clinical research training program, with a strong passion for clinical research and education. She has directed other clinical research programs, such as data management and analysis, and The Role of Real-World Evidence in Medicine.
She has taught on-site and online Advanced Statistical and Manuscript Writing courses offered by Harvard Chan School. She is a member of the editorial committee of the PPCR Journal, a global journal of clinical research, since 2018. Dr. Sanchez is co-author of Critical Thinking in Clinical Research: Applied Theory and Practice Using Case Studies, and editor of Evidence-based Analysis of Technology in Teaching & Learning: The Real Effect of Technology-based Methods in Educational Programs. Her research focuses on pulmonary and pediatrics. She has collaborated in the ISAAC and GAN studies to determine the prevalence of asthma and examine how diet and environmental factors affect the risk of asthma and their role in the etiology and prevention of this chronic disease. Dr. Sanchez has demonstrated success in mentoring students and driving cutting-edge research projects, and she is committed to clinical research to advance medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes.
