Arrival Information

Orientation sessions will begin in the Kresge Building, located at 677 Huntington Ave, Boston MA 02115. The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is located in the Longwood Medical Area.

By Public Transportation

M2 Shuttle and MASCO: Many students and staff use the M2 shuttle that directly connects the Longwood Campus to the Harvard campus in Cambridge. It also makes several stops along the way. The shuttle is free to students with a Harvard ID. MASCO provides general commuter information to the Longwood area, including other shuttles to other areas of Boston and driving/parking options.

MBTA : The School is accessible via bus or train, and more information can be found on the MBTA website.

  • Train: The Green E Line train stops at Brigham Circle, directly in front of the school, or the Longwood stop, which is at the intersection of Longwood and Huntington Ave. The Green D Line Longwood stop is a ten minute walk.
  • Bus: The 39 bus drops off on Huntington Ave directly in front of the school. The campus is also within a short walk of the 8, 19, 60, 65 and 66 bus lines.

By Car

Driving Directions to the School can be found online. On campus parking for students is not available. Monthly and daily passes can be purchased from area garages. Street parking with 2 hour meters is available on Huntington Ave.

Students with disabilities who require parking should contact the Office for Student Affairs.

Area Information

The Longwood Medical Area is home to the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard Medical School, and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  It is also comprised of area hospitals including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital Boston, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Joslin Diabetes Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
