Dear Harvard Chan School community,
I write to offer my heartfelt thanks for your hard work and commitment this year. Thanks to everyone in this extraordinary community, we have wrapped up another successful academic year.
At today’s Convocation ceremony, I quoted one of my favorite African proverbs: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” The remarkable accomplishments of this School—from world-changing breakthroughs to small victories won with patience and persistence—prove the truth of this statement every day.
