Update from the EARTH Study

To all EARTH Study Participants,

On behalf of the entire EARTH study research study team from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the MGH Fertility Center, we want to sincerely thank you for your participation in the EARTH research study.

You were one of more than 1,500 participants that made it possible for us to perform the essential research we did. Since the EARTH study began over fifteen years ago, we have had over 130 publications in scientific journals. These papers have focused on the impact of environmental exposures and diet in relation to fertility and pregnancy outcomes. Our studies have been used by scientific panels and government agencies to inform decisions regarding environmental risk factors for infertility and adverse pregnancy outcomes.

We want to inform you that the EARTH study is entering a new phase and we will no longer actively recruit new participants. We will however continue to analyze the data that we collected and publish our findings in scientific journals and present them at scientific conferences. Our goal is to use the results of the study to improve clinical practice and change policies to protect public health. Your contributions will help others because of the medical and scientific knowledge gained from your participation.

We realize that your participation in this study was voluntary, and we greatly value the time you committed to our research efforts.

Thank you,
