Art Walk with the DFCC Art Collection

April 24th @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us for a unique and enriching experience at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where art meets well-being in a meaningful exploration of the human spirit. In this 60-minute session, we’ll embark on a captivating journey through the institute’s remarkable art collection, delving into the therapeutic and transformative nature of creativity.

Together, we’ll take a moment to immerse ourselves in the beauty of a selected artwork; engage in a collective dialogue; sharing perspectives, insights, and personal reflections; and foster a sense of connection through art. Each participant will have the chance to choose an artwork that resonates with their own sense of well-being.

No Art Experience Required: This event is open to everyone, regardless of your artistic background. All that’s needed is a willingness to explore, discuss, and connect. The activities are designed to encourage open dialogue and the sharing of diverse viewpoints, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.

This event is part of the Wellbeing Through Art workshop series and is sponsored by Harvard Countway Library. For more information about Wellbeing Through Art, visit our website at https://projects.iq.harvard.edu/wellbeingthroughart or contact Andrea Chen at andrea_chen@hms.harvard.edu.
