ArtsThursdays: “The View From Here” lecture by Tommy Orange

Join the Harvard University Native American Program for a lecture by Tommy Orange, titled “The View From Here: POV, Its History and Uses in Fiction.” Orange will be joined in conversation by Professor Mishauna Goeman, Chair of Indigenous Studies, University at Buffalo.

Tommy Orange is a citizen of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma and the author of There There, one of the New York Times’ top books of 2018 and a Pulitzer Prize Finalist.

This will be the third installment of the HUNAP Annual Lecture, a series of talks intended to elevate and promote the sophistication of Native ideas, arts, literature, and culture.

Free admission, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The lecture will take place in Menschel Hall, Lower Level. Please enter the museums via the entrance on 480 Broadway. Doors will open at 5:30pm.

Limited complimentary parking is available in the Broadway Garage, 7 Felton Street, Cambridge.
