Building Bridges: Dermatology and Homeless Medicine

When most people think about the health barriers that people experiencing homelessness face, dermatology may not the first that comes to mind. In reality, there is a great need for dermatological care that addresses a whole host of skin issues experienced by this population. In this seminar, dermatologist Dr. Jennifer Tan will discuss the dermatological challenges that this population faces, how she has innovated to provide care for these patients during the pandemic, and how treating skin conditions can help to build bridges to address the broader public health needs of this population.
