Topic: The Future of Humanitarianism: Humanitarian Aid during COVID and Beyond
Speaker: Michael VanRooyen, MD, MPH Dr. VanRooyen serves as the Director of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) at Harvard University. He is also the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also serves as a Professor at both Harvard Medical School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. As an emergency physician, he has worked with numerous relief organizations in over thirty countries affected by war and disaster
