Global Occupational Disease, Climate, pandemics, and Planetary Health – Universal Occupational Health Coverage, A Roadmap

This Monday ERC Seminar sponsored by the Harvard Chan  Education and Research Center will feature an occupational medicine physician who has conducted occupational safety and health training in Thailand, mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Mongolia, in Saudi Arabia, South Africa and multiple other southeast Asian countries. He is currently working on a WHO Action Plan for Workers’ Health to achieve a University Occupational Health Coverage. In his seminar he will discuss global disasters and describe some pathways to preserving Planetary Health that address the essential elements of climate change mitigation.  This seminar is timely because of its temporal proximity to the climate summit, COP26, being held in Glasgow, Scotland this first week in November.
