Join us for a screening of Steve McQueen’s Occupied City, a documentary informed by Bianca Stigter’s book Atlas of an Occupied City (Amsterdam 1940-1945). The past collides with the present in this excavation of the Nazi occupation of Amsterdam: a journey from World War II to recent years of pandemic and protest and a provocative, life-affirming reflection on memory, time and what’s to come.

Due to the film’s duration, the screening will be split into two parts with the first half of the film shown on April 18 and the second half on April 19.
