Out of Breath: Film Screening and Moderated Discussion

The Department of Global Health and Population will host a film screening as part of the 2023 relaunch of Global Health Week. Join us for an in-person screening of the documentary “Out of Breath,” awarded as the Best Documentary at the It’s All True International Documentary Film Festival (2022). The movie approaches the COVID 19 pandemic from the perspective of the caregivers, revealing the human face of a collective battle against COVID 19 in Brazilian public health system. Film screening will be followed by discussion with Out of Breath director Helena Petta moderated by senior lecturer on global health Richard Cash.
