PFAS Human Health Effects & Fire Fighter-Related Concerns

Occupational Medicine Resident, James M. Medeiros, DO, MPH, and  John W. Downs, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program in the Uniformed Services University, Bethesda, MD, will describe the sources of PFAS in the environment and describe the toxicology and health effects of PFAS. They will discuss how to respond to patient inquiries about the health effects of PFAS.
