Planetary Health as a Frame for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), from Local to Global

Please join a conversation between Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, President of the Association for Indigenous Women and Peoples of Chad, and Achim Steiner, Administrator for the UN Development Programme, as the eighth speakers of the Planetary Health Colloquium Series. Dr. Samuel Myers will moderate the conversation, which will explore why Planetary Health is a useful framework for the UN Sustainable Development Goals from both local and global perspectives and how it can help spur positive solutions for a more equitable, just and livable future.

The event will be streamed live from Zoom. Registration is free, but required.

The Planetary Health Colloquium is co-sponsored by the Departments of Environmental Health, Global Health and Population, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, and Nutrition, along with Harvard University Center for the Environment, the Harvard Global Health Institute, Planetary Health Alliance, and the European Environment and Sustainable Development Advisory Councils Network (EEAC).
