Areli Caballero-Gonzalez

Areli Caballero is a research coordinator in the Nutrition Department at Harvard School of Public Health. She received a B.S. in Health Science from Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. While completing her bachelor’s degree Areli became interested in prevention and lifestyle management. During this time, she also conducted basic research focused on the benefits of exercise and nutrition.

Currently, Areli is researching the cultural perceptions that are tied to diet within the Latino community in the Boston area. In addition, she is designing an education-based intervention for this population.
