Meg Salvia is a PhD student studying Population Health Sciences with a concentration in Nutritional Epidemiology. She is also a registered dietitian specializing in diabetes and eating disorders. Her research focuses on eating behaviors and dietary patterns in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders and cardiometabolic diseases. She is experienced with qualitative research methods and is acquiring training in quantitative methods during her doctoral studies.
Meg received a BA in English from Boston College and an MS in Nutrition Science from Boston University. Prior to beginning the doctoral program at Harvard, she practiced as clinical dietitian, founding a group nutrition counseling practice, and worked as a research assistant at Boston University.
