Marianne Wessling-Resnick appointed to NIH review committee

Marianne Wessling-Resnick, Professor of Nutritional Biochemistry in the Department of Molecular Metabolism at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, has been appointed by the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to serve as a member of the Environmental Health Services Review Committee of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). Wessling-Resnick studies metal metabolism and neurotoxicity. Russ Hauser, Frederick Lee Hisaw Professor of Reproductive Physiology and Chair of the Department of Environmental Health, also serves on the Committee. The Committee reviews institutional training grants, career awards, and other specialized program applications which relate to research focusing on how human health is adversely affected by the environment.
