August 25, 2017–New Harvard Chan students toured the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard (RTH) Community Center on Aug. 25 as part of Orientation Week. Karen Gately, executive director of RTH, led the group around the facilities at Mission Park, which is located a few minutes from the School. The center serves as a local hub for the diverse urban population served by the 13-acre Mission Park neighborhood. It features a full-size gymnasium and indoor basketball court, fitness center, meeting rooms, youth lounge, computer laboratory, and teaching kitchen.
