Students collect donated feminine hygiene products for women’s shelter

March 8, 2016 — In recognition of International Women’s Day on March 8, students from the Women, Gender and Health Interdisciplinary Concentration, Women In Leadership organization, and Women and Health Initiative are running a month-long drive collecting feminine hygiene products for women at Rosie’s Place in Boston, the first women’s shelter founded in the United States. As part of the drive, people can donate brand new boxes or individually-wrapped tampons, pads, and/or panty liners using purple donation bins in the FXB Building and Kresge Building.
