Alumnus Eric Feigl-Ding running for Congress

Eric Feigl-Ding, SD ’07, has announced his bid for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent Pennsylvania’s 10th district. He is a former research scientist in Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s Department of Nutrition and the founder and executive director of Toxin Alert, a site focused on public water supply safety.

In a March 9, 2018 article in the Harvard Crimson, Feigl-Ding said that while he loves conducting public health research, he was motivated to run to have a greater influence on policy. He is focusing on affordable healthcare, and aims to “bring evidence-based policy back to Washington.”

“Life is about what you do for the world, not the number of letters behind your name,” he said.

The primary election takes place on May 1.
