Former Dean Julio Frenk honored by schools of public health

Congratulations to former Harvard Chan School Dean Julio Frenk, now president of the University of Miami, for receiving  the 2016 Welch-Rose Award for Distinguished Service to Academic Public Health on March 22, 2016 at the annual meeting of the Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) in Arlington, VA.  The Welch-Rose award is presented annually to an individual for extraordinary contributions to the academic public health community. The Award recognizes the highest standards in academic public health and honors individuals who have made a lasting impact on academic public health.
