November 13th, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Virtual
AI Healthcare Bias Flyer

Join us for an insightful online session on bias with AI in healthcare featuring Dr. Leo Anthony Celi of MIT & Harvard and Robin Farmanfarmaian, co-author of How AI Can Democratize Healthcare. We’ll explore the opportunities of AI in healthcare but also how AI, despite its potential for advanced decision-making, can perpetuate biases, particularly when trained on homogeneous datasets. This discussion aims to illuminate the nature of these biases: understanding their origins, recognizing their impact on healthcare equity, and identifying the clinical consequences. Together, we’ll delve into a discussion around strategic solutions required to ensure fairness and uphold healthcare equity.
