What's New

Post-consumer composting is here!!!

 GT May 08 Composting (MayTipHSPH.jpg)

What does this mean?

This means that you will have to sort your waste into one of three containers:

RECYCLING (for plastic, metal and glass)

COMPOST (for all food waste, and any of Sebastian's NEW compostable disposabe-ware) or

WASTE (this is anything that can't be composted or recycled)!

What can go in the compost bin?

compost sign (Composting.jpg)All food waste.

Paper towels and napkins.

Any of Sebastian's NEW disposable-ware that is made from compostable materials (including forks, plates, food containers, coffee and soup cups, napkins and coffee stirrers).

***Please note that most paper plates or paper coffee cups that you may bring in from outside Sebastian's are NOT COMPOSTABLE. Most of these products are lined with a plastic lining.***
