Colleen McGrath

Colleen is a doctoral student within the Epidemiology field of study in the Population Health Sciences PhD program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She studied Health and Societies with a minor in Sociology for her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and she recently graduated from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s SM80 in Epidemiology program. Colleen’s research interests are centered in cancer survivorship, with a focus on prostate cancer survivorship specifically. She is interested in exploring the relationship between social and emotional wellbeing, pathways involving lifestyle factors, and prostate cancer survival, progression, and quality-of-life during survivorship. Outside of these, Colleen is broadly interested in other aspects of cancer epidemiology, including prevention and screening, health disparities, positive psychology, and social connectedness and networks.
