Naiyu Chen

Naiyu is broadly interested in cancer epidemiology and health disparities. Her passion for the field initially stemmed from having close family members being affected by cancer and was then reinforced by her further involvement in cancer research during her academic and work experience. Currently, her research focus is on lifestyle factors, the built and social environment, and prostate cancer survivorship among the HPFS Cohort. In addition to research, Naiyu also enjoys teaching epidemiology methods courses as a teaching fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
