Dear Members of the Harvard Chan School Community,
I am absolutely delighted that we will be welcoming Andrea Baccarelli back to our community in his new role as Dean of the Faculty.
Those who know Andrea from his six years as an associate professor in our Department of Environmental Health remember him as an exceptional scientist, a dedicated educator, a strategic thinker, and a collaborative, inclusive, and thoughtful leader. On top of that, he has boundless energy — a definite prerequisite for the job!
This is truly an exciting moment for our community. I am looking forward to working with Andrea, and with all of you, as he leads Harvard Chan School into a new era.
