Leadership in a partisan age: A conversation with Gov. Andy Beshear (D-Ky.) and former Gov. Steve Beshear (D-Ky.)

March 14th @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Fierce partisanship dominates U.S. politics at a national level. Yet in some states, bipartisan cooperation is possible. This event brings together Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, who recently won re-election as the Democratic leader of a heavily Republican state, and his father, former Gov. Steve Beshear, who also served two terms. They’ll share lessons in leadership and reflect on the challenges of working across the aisle to achieve policy goals, including expanded access to health care. The conversation will be moderated by former Gov. Deval Patrick (D-Mass.)
