Sen. Tim Kaine came down with COVID in the first wave of the pandemic, in March of 2020. Today, he experiences non-debilitating Long COVID, which he describes as minor and says feels like “every nerve ending in my body has had five cups of coffee.” The Virginia Democrat talks about his personal experience with Long COVID and the political battle to secure more money to support patients in this Q&A with POLITICO health care reporter Alice Miranda Ollstein. The conversation will also cover Kaine’s other public health priorities, including modernizing the nation’s public health data infrastructure and improving pandemic preparedness.  Register for free.
